Termeh ironing and maintenance:

These types of fabrics have more longevity because of their higher density structure. Some colours, especially darker shades, are more sensitive to direct sunlight and humidity and they might change their original colour if exposed to those elements.

Washing this antique Termeh tablecloth from the 1800s with water and detergents and high-temperature ironing can damage the fabric. The best way to keep it clean and fresh is to gently comb it with a wet sheet of clean fabric and if ironing is necessary only use a medium iron setting with steam.
